And now, on to todays item. Ed mellon's mental wise lot including volume 5, nos. 1 5 (1961), ed mellon's mental wise contents, effects index and contributors index, and 1978 first edition the best of mental wise no reserve! Issuse no.
One through five of volume 5, were upblished between july and november of 1961. Features different effects, articles, tributes, letetrs and more, all related to mentalism. All five issues have faint horizontal creases, from ahving once been folded. A copy fo ed mellon's mental wise contents, effects index and contributors index was compiled by alex redans. It contains a complete contents for all five volumes, an effect index, and a list of the contributors from all issues. The best of mental-wise dedicated to ed mellon. Compiled by bill miesel. Small softcover booklet is 41 pages long. Includes a few scattered illustrations. The condition of the items in this olt range from very good to near mint overall. As with any publications this old, some ageing and minor imperfections should be expected, as well as the possibility of unobtrusive prior owner's notations, inventory control numbers and / or signatures. With the cost of gasoline being what it is these days, it costs me over $5.00 in gas and wear and tear on the car alone to make the special trip to the post office that is required because of customs forms, not to mention the additional time (usually an additional hour or more, round trip). Also, several times i have taken the packages for out-of-country shipment to the post office, only to be told that the postage was more than what was charged by the ebay calculator and more than what was quoted by their own usps online calculator. Another consideration is the cost of packing materials (tape, packing foam, etc. ). This is why i have 2 statements in the listing to please click on the shipping calculator to determine your cost to ship this item before you bid so there are no surprises. I put them there so there would be no surprise as to the cost to ship these items after the fact.
